About Us.
NamatOS began in 2024 as a startup building an AI agent for business intelligence. The work brought together a young engineering team in Egypt around a disciplined approach to building software. The project failed beautifully, and in doing so revealed the real problem: AI agents kept getting better and still ended up unreliable. Intelligence had to be separated from execution.
NamatOS today is a research and development lab building foundational execution systems. We research the boundary between what humans and AI intend and what systems actually do. Our philosophy shapes the questions we choose to study, and our research doesn’t end at publication. We carry what we learn into prototypes, systems, and products.
In 2026, we are preparing research on how execution can stay fixed while interpretation changes, soon to be published alongside an open-source product for durable execution.
